Valyrian steel is much lighter than one might expect, because it is the only metal that can be beaten as thin as it is and still retain its strength. The ripples in the steel, a mark of steel that has been folded on itself many thousands of times, is also a hallmark (III: 358, 359)
Longclaw & Needle Updates
We’ve gotten the final approvals and issues worked out with Longclaw, production is now starting, we should have pictures of the prototype being taken this week, with preorders starting the first week of July, at least for mail orders.
The Needle concept art has been approved. So we’ll now move forward with the technical drawings on it, we should be posting some of that concept art soon as well.

that is really the best news of the day.
I won’t have the sword for my birthday (07/07) but knowing that pictures will be displayed shortly will help me be patient.
