The Sword of Robb Stark
We are pleased to annouce the newest product in our line of licensed collectibles from the HBO® series Game of Thrones®. Robb Stark’s sword features a high carbon steel blade with a full tang. It was modeled directly on the actual screen used prop from the show, with accurately matched materials and dimensions. It is a limited edition of 2500 pcs and will come with a display plaque and a certificate of authenticity. Robb’s Sword will retail for an MSRP of $230, we will start accepting preorders on Sunday January 13th for Spring 2013 deliveries.

Frankly, I wish that your version of the Longclaw (I have the one of the 200 of the Damascus edition) would have been a closer replica of the sword used on the mini-series. Your Longclaw is wider than what is shown on HBO.
Still it is a nice piece.

Of course it is, our book Longclaw was designed in 2006 and 2007, long before the show was ever on the air, its a book replica. We’re making a show Longclaw, and it will look exactly like the prop.

First off, ppl love complaining and its getting tiring. I for one am very impressed with the 3 products you have recently released. The catspaw blade is beautiful and what really makes it is the gorgeous pattern. I love Robbs sword. Simple elegant classy! Nice job on the carbon steel too and full tang. You guys listen to all the input from the fans here on your site and you’ve made some awesome products. Thanks for keeping it limited edition as well.

Will there be a Damascus version of Robs sword? I’d love to see a Scabbard for these as well. Can’t wait for HBO version of Longclaw, missed out on the first one by 3 months

There will not be a damascus version of Robb’s though we’re working on a scabbard.
Longclaw will likely be available for preorder before the 3rd season premier. Possibly well before it.

Hey guys, great work on all of the products so far! Just wondering if you guys would ever consider doing a Dothraki Arakh? Preferably one based off of, or similar to, Mago’s from the first season. Really unique weapon that is a definite must have for fans like myself. Cheers again!

Alright, Valyrian, I know we have had our differences in other threads but you were right about one thing. I love this sword. It is simple, but with the functional sexy elegance!
Full tang? High Carbon? Solid hilt? Yes, yes, and yes! I knew you guys could pull off a higher quality steel and still keep costs down!
Alight, so I have one question. I want one of two specific numbers, can I request them? One is low, but the other is just a random favorite number.

If you get a low order you can request a low number. Higher numbers aren’t always available right away, you can request one, but you may end up waiting a bit while we locate it.

Sounds good. On an another hows the oathkeeper sword coming along,if at all. Last I heard was it is Damascus with the red and black ripples but that was over a year ago. I’m always curious to hear the detail info about things since you have such a vast knowledge of wweaponary I’m general. Aside this, anything that you are excited about that’s coming out or is already out?

Right now we don’t plan to make that list you posted William. Ice and Longclaw are both coming out though. We hope to have them in your hands this summer. Longclaw will have a scabbard and belt sold separately, Ice will not.

We don’t have pricing yet, but it will not be cheap. It is the scabbard and the belt and there are a lot of custom metal fittings. It’ll probably be between $150 and $200 (just for the scabbard).

I just had a few questions about the eventual release of a few related products.
When will the Robb Stark scabbard sold?
Will there be a Damascus steel model of the HBO Ice and Longclaw? If so, when will they be released relative to the normal models?
Also, will normal Longclaw and Ice be made of stainless steel or high carbon steel?

Lets see… Yes we want to do Robb’s scabbard, yes there will be damascus editions of both Longclaw and Ice. With Longclaw it’ll probably be out around the same time, with Ice the damascus will be some months after the standard. Normal Ice will be high carbon, normal Longclaw will be stainless. Stark shield release will be soon. We are working on a scabbard for Needle.

Since Robb Stark’s Sword is the only full tang sword, can you describe the tang on your other products. Primarily Needle, Longclaw (upcoming model), and Ice (upcoming model)?

It is safe to say that other than a scabbard, nothing else of Robb’s will be made.
We don’t have set dates yet on either the shield or the sword.

The shield is exactly like the prop so it that respect it has a leather strap on the back side for slinging over your shoulder.

Hi VS. If I had the money I’d buy everything you make but sadly I have to pick. I pre-ordered the helm and I really want the Stark shield. It’s going to look like the prop so I’m very happy with that. I’m sorry to be whiney after the recent release of brilliant stuff but when will we see the book Oathkeeper? I know this one needs to be Damascus because of the red and black pattern. It’s just I’m very tempted to splash out on Rob’s sword as well but I need to think about the budget because Oathkeeper will be exspensive (not that I’m complaining mind you because I think it’ll really be something!) I think you said somewhere that it will be at least a year before Oathkeeper is released after concept art is approved. Am I then safe to say it’ll go up for pre-order in 2014? Thanks a lot and keep up the good work. I’m a big fan

I think that realistically Oathkeeper will be here possibly as late as early 2014, it could be very late 2013, but no sooner than that.
Preorders would likely open no earlier than early fall/late summer.

No, both those swords will be unlimited. Longclaw will not be full tang so it makes no sense to give it the high carbon steel treatment.
