We get questions frequently “Are you going to make more book products?” or “When will you make more book products?” As you may have heard, George R.R. Martin is incredibly busy, and unlike our HBO license where we copy an existing design, when working with GRRM we have to generate new original designs based on what is in his head, and that requires his time, which is in short supply, so the book products necessarily have slowed down, but they have not stopped, nor do we plan for them to stop.

In fact, we just renewed our license with George R.R. Martin through 2026, which is great because it ensures us the opportunity to do replicas from the final books, should any new interesting weapons surface in them, as well as to continue with book items long after the show finishes (though, I know many of us are hoping for spinoffs or feature film prequels). We’re certainly very happy with the renewal, we can’t wait to see what new weapons might surface in the final two books and reproduce them for you. Currently in development on the book license we are working on Oathkeeper, and Daario’s “ladies.”

    Great news on the contract. What Dan said, any future news on the sword of Roose Bolton (HBO Version) ? I love the items you are currently making, will you be expanding the range, I’d really like to see a HBO White Walker Ice Spear.

    Please, could you work on Oberyn Martell’s spear? It’d be awesome to have a replica of the Red Viper’s spear. In the show it is awesome.

  9. I can’t wait for your future projects. Oathkeeper (book and show), oberyns spear, and much more. Any decision on making Joffreys crossbow? I know you like to make items that feature a lot of air time, such as robbs sword. And Joffreys crossbow has seen quite a bit as it has slain Tywin, Ros, and pierced the eye of Roberts foe the boar. Let alone the fact it was aimed at Sansa and brought Joffrey and Margery closer together.

    The book version represents GRRM’s vision, and it’ll also come with his autography.

    @Karl, yes we’re making a Lannister shield

  13. I am waiting for the Damascus Oathkeeper and am wondering how I can get a #1 is it just chance? Or do I have to ask for it? Or is it just who ever pre orders first gets it. If so is there any sort of notification I could get for when it is released for preorder?

  14. Oathkeeper will look great on my wall. Do you already know when are you taking preorders? I don’t want to miss my chance like i did with longclaw :D
