"If the term "pulchritudinous" could be affixed to a non-human entity, this blade would certainly be a sublime candidate for the title. My expectations were blown into oblivion when I actually beheld my copy of this gorgeous sword for the first time. Well done! When I make more money, you can be sure to expect my business again."

"This Damascus Longclaw edition sword is even better that I expected, and I knew it would be good, but, wow, what a sword! The blade is a beauty to behold. Dark with wavy lines. The sword is heavy and a true masterpiece! Worth every dollar it cost and well worth the wait for it. Thanks to Valyrian Steel and Mr.George R. R. Martin for the genius of this sword!!! I love the white wolf head. So detailed! I love you guys and I love this sword!"

"The sword is awesome. It was truly worth the wait. The work is excellent. The Damascus finish is mesmerizing. The pommel and wolf head are intricate and not "cheap looking". The sword feels solid in you hand (not like a replica)
I had previously purchased Needle and thought it was very nice (exactly what I pictured), but the Damascus Longclaw was beyond expectations. After receiving and inspecting it, I immediately purchased ICE and the non-Damascus version of Longclaw. The non-Damascus is going on my office while and the Damascus is going in my theater in a dust proof display case."

My Damascus Longclaw is AWESOME
"My wife purchased the Damascus Longclaw in April for me as a birthday gift, and it finally arrived yesterday. I am awed by this sword. It is absolutely amazing. It is more impressive than I was hoping for, and I had very high hopes. Every part of this sword is exceedingly high quality. The wolf head pommel is much nicer than the pictures convey. A work of art! The hilt is perfect. And the blade is beautiful, its pattern is just gorgeous. The whole thing feels good to hold. Very solid and strong. I am very happy with this sword and am considering adding Ice and Needle to create a set. Thank you!"

Damascus Longclaw - Beautiful
"The Damascus Longclaw was my first weapons purchase of this quality. I would love to write a review as eloquent as the quality and beauty of this sword but instead I will just say this: It is beautiful. I am happy. I am lucky to have purchased one. I will continue to buy everything Valyrian Steel puts out."

"I recently received a beautiful Damascus Longclaw as a gift, and I'm very happy with it. The damascus steel is breathtaking and well worth the upkeep that comes with it. I hit a minor snag while mounting it on my wall, as one of the fixture holes in the plaque wasn't level so the sword would lean to the side while hanging. The wonderful people at Valyrian Steel immediately sent me a replacement plaque and it hangs perfectly now. Thank you and well done, VS!"

You'll be slicing your neighbors heads off in no time
"I have these annoying neighbors. Let's just call them the Ls. Big-time jerks, definitely some weird stuff going on in the house, and always flaunting their money. I took this sword over to their house and told the husband I would turn him into a shish kabob if they didn't start acting right. It has been a lot better since then and I'm finally getting some respect. Thanks, sword."

"Sword is great, very good to hold, my only niggle is the fullers are not quite uniform, (off center). A very small deviation but a visible one. That said I would buy another if I could think of a good enough reason to convince my better half. (Damascus Ice would qualify). I am certainly not disappointed and can't wait to see what comes next."

"I really put off writing this review because I did not want to feel like an ass and because I spent so much and waited so long.
First the good. Longclaw is undeniably beautiful. I don't want that to be at all in doubt. It really is gorgeous. The pommel, crossguard and pattern welding of the blade are perfect.
The problem comes when you get into the design of the blade. It's a touch too wide and too thin, and when you get right down to it, the blade is what matters in a sword.
So again, stunning but annoyingly non-functional looking when you have regular dealings with truly functional blades."
