\ Needle Scabbard
"Working with leather myself, I really like the quality for the price. The wolf stamps are a nice touch and I like the small amount of black leather to echo the wrap on the sword. No problems with the sword fit for me and I can\'t wait to pass it along to my own little strong willed girl."

"This is sort of a combo review and comment...the needle scabbard is real fine and i saw no obvious dislikes, to this item, and so, to the "fellow leftys" out there- take heart and be courageous-i took on the venture and conquered our problem, yay be brave warriors, and just carefully cut thru the black stiching on the hanger frog loops, then we can easily slide them off the scabbard and turn them around for our "fast draw" ...the stich holes are all there fir you, so all you have to do after sliding them back on is go to a craft store and buy soke heavy black craft thread-($3/roll)- and use a bigger sewing needle to thread the stiches right back up, and tie them off tightly against the scabbard just as they were...enjoy my friends, fellow "leftys"! Now go out, and dance!"

"I like my Needle scabbard and it does not have any minor flaws mentioned by others. I agree it is expensive, but not too expensive or we would not have bought it anyway. My problem, and I did not notice it in the picture before I bought it, is that it is designed for a right handed swordsman, not left handed as it should be for Arya."

"Looks pretty solid. Fits great. Some extra leather dried into the scabbard that shouldn't be there. SHOULD HAVE COST LESS. That is all."

"I just get mine. I thinks is sad having a sword without his scabbard. So i bought all of them. Needle Scabbard, Rob s scabbard and longclaw scabbard. I think Needle scabbard just need a box and some details more. The stamps aren't perfect. The leather that do the line is a bit to long but the scabbards are juste really importante."

"The scabbard is a real nice complement to Needle, however, it is far too expensive for the quality of work done. There was glue around the seams and the notch for the quill was not cut to center of the scabbard. The leather also isnt as sturdy and might start coming undone around the mouth. Overall it is a nice piece, but not worth it for the price. It is a bit disappointing as everything else I've seen from VS has been above and beyond my expectations."

"Scabbard is a nice grey color to match the Starks of Winterfell. Leather bears the same direwolf mark that is on the sword, which is a nice touch. However, I feel like this should have cost half of what it did. There really isn't much to this scabbard. I expected the inside to be lined with something so that the sword slides in and out easier. However, it's just raw leather which makes it difficult to sheath the sword. Overall, I feel like this was a miss among Valyrian Steel's great product line. For the money paid I expected more."

"Since I got my scabbard it's grown on me a little, and that's why I gave it three stars. My biggest problems with it is some of the stitching hangs loose, the seam along the back looks bad, and the thing I hate the most - it's right handed. Everyone who is an Arya fan knows that she's left handed. I think this is something most people over look and even I didn't notice at first until my sister picked up the sword and held it to her side. I don't really regret the buy, but Needle was a really good buy and I almost feel like I could have put that $130 toward a better VS piece."
